Ability to transport materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance), Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, Ability to work in confined spaces, Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills, Ability to work within the safe range of equipment, Ability to work while wearing heavy protective equipment, Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height, Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions, Ability to walk on rafters, roof tiles, and roof shingles without damage, Ability to distinguish colors, Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings, Ability to work with chemicals using appropriate protection, 5% travel required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 3 years experience, Electrical installation and repair experience required, Experience with electrical work involving wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC, Must possess a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local and state requirements, Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check, Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license, Working knowledge of current NEC codes, Ability to interpret single line drawings and PV systems from roof to meter, Demonstrates knowledge of electrical principles as it pertains to solar interconnection/tie-in and code and how PV systems operate, Understands interconnection activities, Understands basic construction principles, Adheres to company safety policies and procedures
Nice to Have
Working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels preferred
What You'll Do.
Lead installation of electrical systems
Ensure work compliance with NEC and local codes
Complete solar battery installations
Troubleshoot system problems
Resolve electrical issues
Plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades
Work with branch team and home owners
Work with local inspectors
Interface with branch leadership
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work with PV installation crew; Lead the crew in absence of Foreman; Work with branch team; Assist teammates; Build relationships with coworkers
