What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School diploma or equivalent, Two years of experience in a member consultant/service role within a financial institution, One year of hands-on experience in home loan lending, Demonstrated proficiency in lending processes
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of loan collateral, Working knowledge of consumer protection laws, FCRA knowledge preferred, SCRA knowledge preferred, CFPB guidelines knowledge preferred, Experience with Finastra Phoenix preferred

Process payment maintenance
Provide payoff quotes
Process lien releases
Set up automatic payments
Maintain title and Deed of Trust
Coordinate lien releases
Upload insurance documentation
Respond to member inquiries
Perform maintenance supporting credit reporting
Complete quality control audits
Verify loan setup accuracy
Process third-party disbursements
Prepare insurance payments
Mail insurance payments
Provide coaching to team members
Participate in Leader Standard Work activities
Communicate challenges and ideas
Foster positive working relationships
Assist with task coverage
Review departmental procedures
Communicate procedure updates
Participate in check-in meetings

This role manages loan inquiries, escrow accounts, and general loan maintenance from origination through payoff and lien release, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and credit union policies. This role also collaborates with third-party vendors to support loan servicing activities.
