work around and with livestock, plant environment will include wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals, Noise level in the work environment can be loud, Frequently required to move and/or lift 100 pounds, occasionally required to move and/or lift more than 50 pounds, Specific vision includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

2 years computer or data entry experience, A desire and willingness to work around and with livestock, Math skills, Maintain active TQA and PQA certification

Nice to Have

organizational skills and attention to detail, Ability to make independent decisions, The ability to work with a diverse team, build relationships, and promote a positive work environment, Ability to multi-task, prioritize daily work assignments and manage time wisely, Ability to be professional, respectful, and approachable, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

What You'll Do.

Oversee and manage daily harvest line-up

Maintain accurate use of HRA system

Ensure smooth coordination between receiving and harvest

Ensure accurate counts

Monitor receiving process for department needs

Oversee Ante Mortem Inspection process

Identify and correct deficiencies

Resolve issues related to lots received

Monitor trends and provide solutions

Train employees in HRA application use

Train backup staff for HRA functions

Support Hog Barn Supervisor

Delegate tasks and provide conflict resolution

Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Support the Hog Barn Supervisor; Take a lead role with the Receiver team; Work with department staff; Ensure smooth coordination between receiving and harvest operations; Train, coach, and develop employees; Train backup staff for key HRA functions; Delegate tasks and provide conflict resolution; Ensure staffing levels meet daily operational needs across all shifts; Ability to work with a diverse team, build relationships, and promote a positive work environment
