What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 18 years of age, 3 years of hockey experience, Can demonstrate on-ice hockey skills, Meet all USA Hockey and CAHA screening requirements, Hold a Level 1 or 2 USA Hockey coaching credential, Able to ice skate, Lift and carry up to 25 pounds while skating, Knowledge and clear understanding of the USA Hockey American Development Model Association Program (ADM), Possess a valid driver’s license, Possess automobile liability insurance, Good driving record, USA Hockey Certification, Safe Sport, Other CAHA state requirements

What You'll Do.
Assist Learn to Play Hockey programming on and off-ice activities
Assist Hockey Initiation programs
Support all Rinks hockey programs
Be a positive ambassador for hockey
Assist at Hockey Initiation
Assist at Ducks Learn to Play Hockey
Assist at Score a Goal
Assist at Little Ducks
Assist at Hockey Camps
Be at the Rink 30 minutes before scheduled sessions
Be ready to go onto the ice 15 minutes before players
Meet with the Head Hockey Coach/Instructor
Interact with players and parents
Assist with ice set up
Set a standard for development
Be present and friendly
Interact with all participants
Stay with your assigned skill station
Keep the group organized
Be familiar with Rinks “Next Steps” Programs
Make sure all interactions are fun and productive
Attend monthly Rinks “Power Play” team building sessions
Other duties as assigned
