In this role, you will play a key technical role in the planning and design of complex road and highway projects, developing horizontal and vertical alignments, junction layouts, and construction details that directly shape critical infrastructure and improve mobility, safety, and connectivity for the communities we serve. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Provide project design civil engineering services, including preparation of project study reports, project reports, geometric approval drawings, plans, specifications, and estimates. * Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and super-elevation diagrams in accordance with applicable standards. * Perform quantity calculations and prepare project estimates. * Develop details for construction, detours, signing, and marking. * Coordinate with the project team and interdisciplinary technical personnel to ensure integrated design solutions. * Assist senior staff in completing project deliverables and meeting project requirements. * Provide support for other engineering activities as required. * Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. * Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. **What Required Skills You’ll Bring** * Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. * Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field
