Eligibility Requirements

Part Time hours will be considered for this role (3 days a week)

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent), registration to RCCP/AHCS, at least two years’ experience at highly specialist level post completion of devices accreditation

Nice to Have

Pacing accredited Cardiac Physiologists (HRUK/IBHRE/EHRA), BHRS/IBHRE Devices Accreditation

What You'll Do.

Perform a broad range of procedures in the cardiac cath lab

Support cardiac device implants

Lead cardiac device follow-up clinics

Deliver high-quality testing

analysis and reporting where appropriate of all non-invasive cardiology tests

Provide expert clinical leadership and specialist technical guidance in the implantation and follow-up of cardiac devices

Act as a clinical role model

promoting evidence-based best practice

Maintain and advance clinical standards in CRM through ongoing training

Maintaining clear communication with the Clinical HOD and monitoring daily service delivery

Oversee stock control procedures

Contribute to the review and development of departmental and hospital-wide policies

Lead clinical audits identifying trends and implementing service

and competency assessments for junior staff and other healthcare professionals

Uphold departmental quality systems

Contribute to the delivery of departmental workloads and deputise for the HOD
