As a High Voltage Test Technician in our Transformer Services team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safety and performance of power grids across the country. If you’re looking for a role where your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will directly contribute to the stability and efficiency of critical infrastructure, we invite you to consider this opportunity with Hitachi Energy. **T his role will be based in the Earth City, MO office with up to 60% travel required.** **How you’ll make an impact** * Set up and operate mobile high voltage test systems at customer sites. * Perform advanced electrical tests, including applied and induced voltage, partial discharge localization, and temperature rise. * Investigate and troubleshoot sources of partial discharge in transformers. * Analyze and interpret electrical test results to ensure optimal performance. * Calibrate and maintain specialized test equipment. * Communicate technical findings and solutions to customers and field crews. * Provide technical support and guidance to field teams. * Collaborate with engineering and service teams to deliver best-in-class solutions. * Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. **Your background** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Five or more years of experience in transformer testing or ten yea
