NVIDIA is seeking a visionary and technically grounded High-Speed Interconnect Architect to define and drive the future of our high-speed (>=100Gbps per lane) interconnect solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Mechanical Engineering understanding, an Electrical Engineering background, and deep experience in high-speed connector and cable manufacturing. You will lead roadmap strategies by balancing requirements with innovation to deliver outstanding designs. **What you’ll be doing:** * Define and lead the product roadmap for high-speed cables and connectors, rooted in state-of-the-art technical understanding and forward-thinking vision * Specify clear, actionable requirements while enabling space for innovation across mechanical and signal integrity domains * Work closely with customers and vendors to understand challenges, capture insights, and drive alignment from concept through execution * Navigate the ME/SI tradeoff space, ensuring robust mechanical designs while respecting signal integrity constraints * Lead or support root cause analysis of mating and mechanical issues, and continuously refine design for manufacturability and reliability * Drive fast-turn prototyping and MP cycle time optimization * Encourage internal and external collaborators with our vision
