ACT Power Services, a national Solar Power Operations & Maintenance Provider, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious High Voltage/Medium Voltage (HV/MV) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of HV/MV electrical equipment and systems. This is a hands-on role that plays a critical part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a solar power plant’s infrastructure. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HV/MV electrical systems (typically 5kV – 35kV and above). Conduct electrical testing of transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and protective devices. Perform cable splicing and terminations in accordance with industry standards. Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform root cause analysis. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and test results. Assist in energizing new or repaired systems following strict safety protocols. Comply with all OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards
