Must have a valid HHA certification depending on the state. All employees provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination unless exempt due to medical, religious, or personal beliefs. Government requirements or exclusions may apply.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least one year of experience working in senior care. Acceptable proficiency in English. Basic computer skills. Ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations. Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
What You'll Do.
Provide assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.
Responsibilities include medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
Provide emotional and social support to residents.
Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
Respect residents’ confidentiality.
