What They're Looking For.
Must Have
UK Driver Accessor Certificate, Minimum 3 years HGV driving experience, Valid Class 2 HGV licence, Digital tachograph card, In Date CPC Card, Good understanding of HGV mechanics, Knowledge of relevant legislation, Communication skills to engage drivers
Nice to Have
Experience conducting driver assessments
What You'll Do.
Deliver driver inductions
Deliver pre-employment assessments
Provide refresher training
Provide additional mode training
Maintain training records
Maintain competence records
Support drivers following incidents
Reassess drivers after incidents
Retrain drivers after incidents
Review driver performance data
Create action plans for improvements
Carry out targeted behavioural coaching
Share vehicle updates
Share operational information
Support continuous improvement in training
Support continuous improvement in driver development
Reduce accidents and incidents
Provide legislative support
Ensure statutory requirements are met
Ensure legal requirements are met
