Location: Laconia, NH Start Date: ASAP Helper Rate: $18.33 per hour We are seeking a dependable and patient helper to assist an elderly couple: Female (82): Uses a walker for mobility Male (83): Has dementia and requires supervision and guidance The role focuses on ensuring safety, routine support, and light assistance with daily activities. Care Responsibilities Assist with showers Provide general daily support and supervision Ensure home safety and fall prevention Assist the male client with getting onto a lawnmower (must be comfortable supervising and ensuring safe setup) Offer companionship and redirection as needed (due to dementia) Schedule 2 days per week (flexible) 2-3 hours per day Ideal Candidate Experience with dementia care is a plus Comfortable assisting with mobility and safety supervision Patient, attentive, and reliable Good judgment and awareness for safety, especially during outdoor activity This role is ideal for a helper who can balance hands-on support with supervision, especially for a client with dementia, while also assisting with light physical tasks and maintaining a safe environment.
