Must Have
High School or equivalent training, Minimum six (6) months experience as a maintenance technician, Availability to work a flexible schedule, Score 80% or higher on pre-employment maintenance test, Ability to communicate effectively
Nice to Have
Certified Pool Operator certification preferred, Previous plumbing experience, Previous electrical experience, Previous mechanical experience, Previous drywall repairs experience, Previous carpentry experience, Previous pool/spa maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, EPA certification
What You'll Do.
Maintain property and equipment condition
Protect property and equipment from damage
Direct maintenance staff
Make recommendations to ownership
Maintain and care for equipment
Complete emergency repairs
Document replacement of appliances
Document replacement of carpet
Document replacement of vinyl
Document replacement of water heaters
Document replacement of condensers
Track systems repairs
Track apartment painting
Track refrigerator coil cleaning
Track carbon monoxide checks
Maintain adequate inventory supply
Ensure service shop is clean
Ensure service shop is organized
Perform daily pool inspections
Perform daily spa inspections
Ensure proper water chemistry
Ensure cleanliness of pool/spa area
Ascertain needed repairs
Ascertain needed improvements
Keep premises supplied with water
Perform routine maintenance on AC units
Perform repair on AC units
Note building deficiencies to Supervisor
Note building needs to Supervisor
Adhere to fair housing policies
Maintain confidentiality
Assist Helper A Trainee
Assist Helper C Trainee
Perform carpet cleaning
Perform apartment cleaning
