About the Position: Primary responsibilities include providing customer service to students, faculty, and staff of the University in relation to technology questions and problems reported. Front line support is provided in person, on the phone and responding to chat or ticket requests. Individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and triaging computer hardware and software issues, loading software, configuring computer software, peripherals, and mobile devices, and providing support for a large number of applications. Essential Functions: Responding to technology questions and problems encountered via help desk channels Participation in career development activities to expand knowledge through technical and professional training Some evening/weekend hours would be required. Would also be on call approximately 3 weeks out of the year for after hour emergencies   Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required .  One to two years of experience in computer support (both MAC & PC Platforms) and customer support experience via phone is required.
