What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Five years of experience in Home Equity or Mortgage Underwriting management, Proficiency in PC applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook, Produce, read, analyze, and interpret a variety of procedures, manuals, policies, and regulations, Experience with AI applications, Must be able to work extended hours as needed
Nice to Have
Experience using MeridianLink Loan Origination System (LOS)
What You'll Do.
Build underwriting department
Perform line level roles
Hire and manage direct reports
Manage and perform underwriting
Monitor team performance
Monitor and evaluate HELOC pipeline
Partner with credit policy
Manage implementations
Partner with Retail and Wholesale Departments
Manage vendor relations
Create and maintain culture of compliance
Manage risk appropriately
Comply with applicable laws and regulations
