What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current Airframe and Powerplant Certificate from Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), 1-3 years experience as an aircraft technician for a Part 121 or Part 135 operation as referenced in resume

ongoing maintenance of the flight program in compliance with established safety/quality standards
timely correction of mechanical irregularities and discrepancies and scheduled maintenance

Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** The nature of the air-medical mission requires that the Helicopter Mechanic have the aircraft mission ready so as to be able to move a specialty care transport team and patient safely and expeditiously. Is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance (daily, scheduled, and unscheduled) inspections. Will be responsible for maintaining the aviation facilities (helipad/hangar). The Mechanic must consistently project a positive image of the institution when dealing with the FAA, physicians, patients, employees, and the public. The Mechanic is responsible for the overall safe and efficient conduct of maintenance on the aircraft. Must have a good working knowledge of the company Operational Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Flight Manual, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, and any other documents pertinent to Careflight specific aircraft.
