12hr days, 7x7 or 14x14 shift, No nights, Travel and accommodation will not be provided, Must be able to provide own tools
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman (On-Road), Valid Class 5 drivers licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years, Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, Must be able to provide your own tools
Nice to Have
Class 1 or 3 drivers licence, CVIP licence, or able to achieve a CVIP licence, Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems
What You'll Do.
Perform preventative maintenance on Hydrovacs
Combo and Water High Pressure Water Blasting Equipment
Highway tractors and trailers
Diagnose and repair diesel engines & after treatment
Diagnose and repair hydraulic & PTO systems
transmissions & differentials
Repair vacuum pump & blower
Diagnose & repair burner
Perform commercial vehicle inspections
inspect equipment and replace or repair defective parts
Interpret work orders
Work alongside apprentices and delegate work
Attend daily tool box and safety meetings
Adhere to corporate and site safety regulations
