What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson’s Heavy Duty Technician, 12 months surface mining field experience, Eligible to work in Canada
Nice to Have
Experience with Komatsu, Experience maintaining hydraulic shovels, Experience with SAP, Experience working at a remote mining site, Experience in a cross cultural work environment
What You'll Do.
Conduct job risk assessments
Develop safe work plans
Conduct preventative maintenance
Service mobile equipment
Check equipment performance
Inspect equipment for faults
Diagnose mechanical issues
Troubleshoot mechanical issues
Determine extent of mechanical issues
Work with manufacturers
Return completed work orders
Communicate with supervisors

Provide input to planners
