Must Have
Minimum five (5) years of recent heavy equipment experience gained either in military or commercial application, Must have either performed or supervised construction equipment operation, special techniques in using construction equipment to prepare sites for constructing and maintaining asphalt roads and grounds, concrete work, soil stabilization, and rigid and flexible pavement construction and maintenance, Must possess basis skills in computer operations, Must have ability to read, interpret and apply TM instructions, publications, and safety rules, Driver's License required, Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance US Government Clearance, US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance
Nice to Have
CDL Class A or driver’s license preferred

Full Job Description
**Purpose and Scope:** To maintain and repair sections of the following: roads, streets, curbs, surface mats, membranes, drainage structures, as well as other improved areas using appropriate paving and/or surfacing procedures; interpret construction drawings and surveys using information such as subgrade contours and grade alignment; and shall provide erosion control. **Essential Responsibilities:** * Meet heavy equipment requirements on a government contract on a military installation. * Determine type and application of equipment to use in various maintenance and repair operations; operate construction equipment to finish grade, level, slope, and compact construction materials. * Ability to investigate proposed work sites to determine resource requirements, plan and estimate jobs, coordinate and plan work requirements with other civil engineering and base agencies and inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with policies, regulations, and other publications. * Maintain, and repair graded roads, graveled roads and acreage, open ditches, drainage, foundations and slabs on grade. * Possess experience in chain link fence construction and repair. **Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:** * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. * Minimum five (5) years of recent heavy equipment experience gained either in military or commercial application. * Must have either performed or supervised construction equipment operation, special techniques in using construction equipment to prepare sites for constructing and maintaining asphalt roads and grounds, concrete work, soil stabilization, and rigid and flexible pavement construction and maintenance. * Must have at least one of the following qualifications: OSHA Certified Crane Operator (29 CFR 1926.1427), minimum two years of experience on 100-ton crane, Certified Forklift Operator, Certified Front-End Loader, Certified CTL Skid Steer Operator, Certified Excavator Operator, Ce
