What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Five (5) years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Ability to pass drug, driving (if applicable) and background screenings
Nice to Have
Previous underground utility experience preferred, Previous experience with GPS system operation on heavy equipment preferred, Current valid state commercial driver’s license and current medical card preferred
What You'll Do.
Drive and maneuver heavy construction equipment
Operate heavy equipment safely
Cut and maintain slope or grade
Follow project plans and instructions
Avoid potential hazards and obstructions
Load and haul construction machinery
Account and report daily activity
Maintain accurate work records
Identify and resolve problems
Comply with safety requirements
Participate in safety meetings
Perform routine inspection and maintenance
Store company equipment safely
Coordinate machine actions with crew members
Work in a constant state of alertness
Perform other duties as directed
