Must Have
Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification, Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification, Red Seal Off Road certificate, Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract, 3+ years experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician, skills in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
Nice to Have
demonstrated time in the field, mining operations is an asset, Engine and/or component rebuilding experience, Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience, Previous gas engine and power generation experience
What You'll Do.
maintenance and repair of a variety of Caterpillar general line
power systems and mining equipment
troubleshoot and perform running repairs on mechanical
and electrical systems
perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of Caterpillar Mining Equipment
repair and maintain CAT equipment in a field environment
Respond to customer needs
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Completing required paperwork
