## Description Our client is a family-owned and operated truck and trailer repair shop specializing in dedicated fleet maintenance, with a focus on the car hauling industry. They are fully equipped to handle all aspects of heavy-duty repair, offering top-tier diagnostic tools and a professional, supportive work environment. Our client is seeking a qualified Heavy-Duty (Class A) Diesel Diagnostic Service Technician to perform diagnostic and road service work for commercial vehicles. The technician will handle offsite road service calls as well as onsite repairs, professionally diagnosing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role includes working with aftertreatment systems, engine diagnostics, air conditioning, electrical systems, and lighting. ## Responsibilities Perform offsite and onsite diagnostic and repair work on heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Diagnose and maintain aftertreatment systems, engine check/stop engine lights, air conditioning, electrical, and lighting systems. Utilize OEM diagnostic software and tools (Cummins, PACCAR, Snap-on, JPRO, ECT) to efficiently identify and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate with fleet managers or clients as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures. Maintain punctuality and professionalism at all times. ## Qualifications Valid Class A driver’s license (Preferred) Proven experience as a heavy-duty diesel technician, including diagnostic and road service experience. (At least 5 years of experience) Ability to professionally and efficiently diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy-duty vehicle issues. Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills.
