What You'll Do.

Provide audiological technical support

Oversee audiological technical support

Support daily clinical operations

Support hearing aid dispensing program

Support cochlear implant program

Provide administrative support

Participate in direct patient contact

Triage hearing aid problems

Triage cochlear implant problems

Repair hearing aid problems

Repair cochlear implant problems

Process new hearing aid orders

Process repair orders

Run electroacoustic tests

Troubleshoot hearing aids

Troubleshoot earmolds

Provide in-office hearing aid repairs

Remain familiar with hearing aid accessories

Remain familiar with replacement parts

Determine appropriate accessories

Open audiology testing area

Close audiology testing area

Provide infection control

Receive ACCESS-VR authorizations

Process ACCESS-VR authorizations

Track state aid applications

Manage stock of clinic supplies

Organize supply of test forms

Maintain supply of test forms

Prepare paperwork for pre-approval

Submit hearing aid pre-approval requests

Handle warranty verification

Handle insurance verification

Support hearing aids loaned out

Document hearing aids loaned out

Manage stock hearing aids

Track stock hearing aids

Manage loaner hearing aids

Track loaner hearing aids

Manage donated hearing aids

Track donated hearing aids

Manage salvaged hearing aids

Manage technical specifications documents

Maintain pediatric hearing aid folders

Create new patient files

Provide technical support for Cochlear Implant Program

Order accessories for patients

Correspond with manufacturers

Provide support to ENT providers

Perform other duties as assigned
