Must Have
Minimum one year experience in a Health Information Management Department within a hospital environment, Ability to work in a busy environment and accurately perform tasks, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Willingness to learn, Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration, Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record

What You'll Do.
Retrieve patient records from the electronic health record
microfilm as requested by internal/external customers
Prepare charts for scanning
index documents in accordance with established procedures
Answer department telephone and respond to faxed requests from internal and external customers
and person to person (walk-ins) requests related to health information management functions
such as chart requests
Sort charts following patient discharge
Log and complete medical requests for patient information
Other duties as assigned to ensure department workload is covered
