Must Have

High School Diploma or GED, Basic computer proficiency, Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language, Detail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records, data entry skills, Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, Able to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Experience in a healthcare environment, Previous production/metric-based work experience, In-person customer service experience, Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers, Comfortable bringing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders, Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology, Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems, Experience working with subpoenas

What You'll Do.

Process all release of information (ROI)

Process medical record requests

Safeguard patient privacy

Ensure releases comply with request

Assist Patient walk-in's

Handle incoming and outgoing Faxes

Document information in multiple platforms

Receive and process requests for patient health information

Maintain confidentiality and security

Maintain working knowledge of software

Adhere to Code of Conduct and policies

Inform manager of work difficulties

Manage patient health records

Safeguard patient records

Prepare new patient charts

Assemble medical records

Create digital images of paperwork

Respond to requests for patient records

Answer inbound/outbound calls

Assist with administrative duties

Meet productivity expectations

Work with product team; Build relationships with on-site clients and customers; Bring new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders
