What You'll Do.

Process all release of information (ROI)

Safeguard patient's right to privacy

Ensure releases of information are compliant

Receive and process requests for patient health information

Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information

Maintain working knowledge of Company and facility software

Adhere to Company and Customer facilities Code of Conduct

Inform manager of work

and/or fluctuating volumes

Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities

Apply medical privacy regulations

Manage patient health records

Safeguard patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance

Prepare new patient charts

Ensure medical records are assembled in standard order

Create digital images of paperwork

Respond to requests for patient records

Answer inbound/outbound calls

Assist with patient walk-ins

Assist with administrative duties

Meet productivity expectations

Associate must at all times safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.
