What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Undergraduate or graduate college student, Majoring in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, social work or related fields, In good academic standing, Commitment of 8+ hours each week for the entire academic year, Desire to grow personally and professionally, Comfortable learning and presenting on health-related topics to a teen audience, Ability to travel to assigned sites, Lift up to 15 pounds
What You'll Do.
Develop relationships with teen wellness leaders and site
Collaborate with Regional Program Manager and other area
Participate in professional development and leadership opportunities
Assess schools’ needs and progress
Research health challenges schools are facing
Measure impact by completing needs assessment
Report and track work throughout mentorship
Plan and implement delivery of HealthCorps’ program
Commit to 8+ hours a week
Be at assigned school sites/campuses for 3-4+ hours
Host Café O Yea demonstrations monthly
Support regional events
Contribute to HealthCorps’ social media platforms
Share program highlights
Prioritize health and wellness daily
local health resources are accessible
Represent HealthCorps in Southern Oklahoma
and community members to HealthCorps
