Must Have

Master’s degree or higher in biostatistics, epidemiology, health informatics, public health, data science, or a closely related field, At least five (5) years of experience supporting complex, multi-source health data programs at the state or federal level, Demonstrated experience with state and federal reporting requirements, including performance and financial reporting, Experience analyzing public health or grant‑funded program data to identify trends, data quality issues, and performance insights, Advanced proficiency in one or more data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. , Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, SPSS, R, or Python), Proven experience training and providing technical assistance to non‑technical staff, including staff at rural or community-based health organizations, Experience supporting data governance, validation processes, and compliance documentation in public-sector or grant‑funded environments

Nice to Have

Seven (7) or more years of experience supporting state or federally funded health programs, Experience working with Medicaid programs, rural health systems, safety‑net providers, or organizations serving underserved populations, Experience supporting technical assistance or capacity‑building initiatives, Familiarity with compliance-driven and audit-visible environments, Based in or near a state health agency hub or capital region

This role focuses on helping partner organizations understand reporting requirements, use standardized tools effectively, and produce accurate, timely, and compliant performance and financial data aligned with state and federal expectations.
