What You'll Do.
Greet patients and initiate intake procedures
Register patients in practice management software
Determine patient payment method
Conduct agency procedures for payment type
Verify insurance and benefits
Schedule patient appointments
Answer phones and field patient needs
Refer calls to necessary personnel
Perform patient check-out procedures
Post charges to practice management system
Request contributions per PPWP guidelines
Complete daily health center closing procedures
Run end-of-day reports
Determine patient's reason for visit
Provide cost estimates for services
Obtain and update medical history
Determine need for point of care testing
Perform point of care tests
Perform patient blood pressure
Administer Intramuscular injections
Administer subcutaneous injections
Collect blood specimens
Document all services provided
Complete required training for mandated child abuse reporting
Complete timely child abuse reports
Travel between Planned Parenthood Clinics

## Description Planned Parenthood Western Pennsylvania (PPWP) is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. PPWP operates five health centers located in Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Cambria Counties and provides education and advocacy services throughout western Pennsylvania. The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare, including clinical abortion care and family planning at Planned Parenthood Allegheny County locations. This position floats between Planned Parenthood locations. The clinics are conveniently located on a busline. This role requires a combination of skill and flexibility, as well as a willingness to work as a collaborative and inclusive member of a team. This role requires a compassionate individual with demonstrated communication skills and clinical proficiency.
