The Brief

“Health and Safety Manager. Skills: health and safety culture, H&S strategy, H&S policies, risk assessments, performance monitoring, incident investigation, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, regulatory compliance. Partner with senior leadership and site teams to strengthen a proactive health and safety culture across all UK operations. Develop and deliver a risk-based H&S strategy aligned to operational priorities across facilities, logistics, and customer environments”

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent, CMIOSH (or working towards), Proven H&S leadership experience in high-risk sectors such as healthcare, waste, logistics, or industrial environments, understanding of hazardous or clinical waste risks, Demonstrated ability to influence and drive behavioural change, incident investigation and root cause analysis skills, Confident communicator with experience delivering training, Commercial awareness, including managing H&S-related costs, Driving license and willingness to travel

What You'll Do.

Partner with senior leadership and site teams to strengthen a proactive health and safety culture across all UK operations

Develop and deliver a risk-based H&S strategy aligned to operational priorities across facilities

and customer environments

Lead the implementation of H&S policies

and risk assessments across all activities

Monitor performance through data

driving continuous improvement

Lead incident and near-miss investigations

ensuring robust root cause analysis and effective corrective actions

Facilitate H&S committees and coordinate improvement plans with regional leaders and site teams

Develop and deliver training programmes

including inductions and refresher training

ensuring accurate compliance records

Act as the key contact for regulators

ensuring full compliance with UK legislation

Work closely with operational teams to identify and implement risk-based safety improvements
