This role works closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. The HAP Patient Scheduler plays a vital role in enhancing patient satisfaction and operational efficiency by managing appointment schedules, verifying insurance information, and communicating with patients regarding their appointments **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Schedule Patient Appointments** * Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments. * Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure availability. * Manage and prioritize appointment requests based on urgency. **Patient Communication** * Communicate appointment details, changes, and cancellations to patients. * Answer patient inquiries regarding appointment schedules. * Provide information about clinic services and procedures. **Insurance Verification** * Verify patient insurance information prior to appointments. * Communicate with insurance companies to confirm coverage. * Ensure accurate billing and collections. **Maintain Patient Records** * Update and manage patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. * Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. * Generate reports on appointment statistics and patient flow. **Coordinate with Clinical Staff** * Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to schedule appointments. * Ensure smooth and efficient patient flow. * A
