What You'll Do.

Lead the development and delivery into service for Sea Ceptor maritime platform equipment

Development and delivery into service of major platform subsystem equipment

Command and Control – provides the functionality for the user to operate the weapon system

System Control Equipment – high-integrity control of the weapon system

Launch Management System – interface to the launcher and munitions

Platform Datalink – secure communication with munitions in flight

Maintainer Local Terminal – weapon system configuration

log retrieval and data analysis

Delivery of the subsystem Certificates of Design

directing the Design Authorities for these subsystems to ensure delivery on time/cost/quality

Lead the subsystem Design Authorities

create the environment for them to deliver on time/cost quality across multiple concurrent development programmes

Managing mid-life update and obsolescence programmes

support to in-service product queries

Accountability for all Subsystem Safety activities

responsible for bringing cohesion across all subsystems that feed into these deliverables

Provide guidance and oversight for new business bids for the subsystems task group

ensure that the Sea Ceptor programme’s needs are met by the subsystem Product Lines that deliver common components for Sea Ceptor and other air defence programmes

Ensure subsystem product lines have product evolution plans that meet the needs of the Sea Ceptor

Find opportunities for convergence and coherence across the programmes and product lines

Full Job Description

Lead the development and delivery into service for Sea Ceptor maritime platform equipment! **Salary** : Up to £71,000 depending on experience **Dynamic (hybrid) working** : 3 - 4 days per week on-site due to workload classification **Security Clearance** : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship _._ Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.
