What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's degree in Development Studies, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field, Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in international development or humanitarian programming, At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, Demonstrated, verifiable track record in resource mobilization, Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary program teams in a complex, multi-donor INGO environment, Knowledge of Zimbabwe's development context, donor landscape, and key sector dynamics
What You'll Do.
Lead and manage funding pipeline
Develop high-quality concept notes

Coordinate inputs from program
Build and manage strategic donor relationships
Represent CARE Zimbabwe compellingly in donor and private
Drive non-traditional resource mobilisation
Provide direct line management for program direct reports
Manage performance of program direct reports
Oversee professional development for program direct reports
Coordinate program delivery across all active projects
Facilitate integration across projects
Facilitate knowledge-sharing across projects
Facilitate cross-project synergies
Embed a culture of continuous learning
Use evidence from MEAL to improve program design
Use evidence from MEAL to improve program delivery
Ensure programs comply with donor requirements
Ensure programs comply with CARE International standards
Ensure programs comply with Zimbabwean regulations
Review and approve high-quality donor narrative reports
Oversee program-level risk management
Collaborate with Finance
Ensure programs are operationally feasible
Ensure programs are well-resourced
Integrate CARE's safeguarding standards across all program activities
Integrate CARE's anti-fraud standards across all program activities
Represent CARE Zimbabwe at donor forums
Represent CARE Zimbabwe at cluster meetings
Represent CARE Zimbabwe at government consultations
Represent CARE Zimbabwe at INGO coordination platforms
Contribute to country-level policy
Contribute to country-level advocacy
Use programming evidence across the four programme pillars
