Must Have
solid experience leading operations, processes or business-critical teams, in execution and able to drive progress through others, Solid experience with complex KYC cases in fintech, payments, banking, or crypto, particularly for complex corporate clients, understanding of regulatory requirements and practical application of CDD/ODD/EDD/EDR, Brings structure, calmness and clarity in demanding situations, comfortable working across functions and managing multiple stakeholders, pragmatic and hands-on approach combined with good judgement

Lead and stabilise the KYC function
Take day-to-day leadership responsibility for the KYC team
clarity and direction in a currently pressured and business-critical area
accountability and a stronger performance culture within the team

Drive operational execution
Establish clear priorities and ensure disciplined follow-through
Remove existing backlog and improve turnaround times
Monitor team capacity
workload balancing and case progression
Introduce simple but effective operating cadence
including regular follow-up on delivery
bottlenecks and risks
Strengthen processes and governance
Review and improve KYC workflows
handovers and escalation paths
Ensure that processes are fit for purpose
scalable and aligned with regulatory requirements
Improve documentation
transparency and management reporting
Support a clear governance model between KYC
Commercial and other relevant stakeholders
Support risk management and regulatory readiness
Help ensure that KYC operations are conducted in a controlled and risk-aware manner
Escalate material issues
bottlenecks and risks in a timely and transparent way
Work closely with Compliance and relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate operational follow-up on regulatory requirements
Contribute to strengthening the overall control environment in the area
Build a sustainable team and operating model
Assess current team structure
capabilities and ways of working
Identify capability gaps

onboarding and capability building where needed
Help define a target operating model for a more efficient and resilient KYC setup
