Must Have
Completed university degree (Diplom, Bachelor or Master), Several years of leadership experience in working with people in different roles, Experience leading managers and taking responsibility at a higher level, Extensive experience in managing economic contexts, Knowledge of the requirements, structures, and decision-making logic of larger organizational units from practice, Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, Proficiency in the environmental sector, Understanding of relevant technical, regulatory, and economic framework conditions, Active leadership personality with co-responsibility for the overall success of AFRY Germany, Ability to make decisions clearly, soundly, and responsibly, Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational action, Entrepreneurial mindset, Ability to maintain an overview in complex situations, Ability to foster open, cooperative, and appreciative collaboration

What You'll Do.
Strategically and operationally develop the Environment department in Germany
Manage departments in terms of expertise
Shape continuous development of departments and sustainable orientation of the area
Act as a strategic sparring partner and central point of contact
Balance overarching control with operational support
Manage economic and operational results including quality
Support technical and commercial offer preparation
Support contract and amendment negotiations
Expand long-term customer and partner relationships
Strengthen cross-departmental collaboration
Drive the development of processes and methods
and a healthy and safe working environment
