We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it. **An opportunity to play your part -** The Head of Engineering for Customer Platforms is accountable for the end to end engineering capability, delivery performance and technical health of Customer Platforms across digital, CRM (including Salesforce), integration and contact centre technologies. The role ensures secure, scalable and resilient platforms that enable growth, improve customer experience and reduce cost to serve, while embedding strong engineering ownership within domain aligned teams, with a particular focus on maximising the value of Salesforce and associated platforms. **Location** : UK-based hybrid role, Occasional travel to site. **Day to day:** * Define and own the engineering strategy for Customer Platforms, including Salesforce, aligned to business and product goals * Translate enterprise and retail strategy into actionable engineering roadmaps across digital, CRM (Salesforce) and integration domains * Provide clear technical direction within agreed architectural guardrails, including Salesforce architecture and ecosystem * Balance investment across innovation, resilience, simplification and regulatory obligations, including Salesforce optimisation * Own predictable and high quality delivery across digital, CRM (Salesforce) and integration domains * Ensure strong engineering practices that enable frequent, safe releases across all platforms including Salesforce * Monitor
