engineering fundamentals, experience with application architecture, experience with integration patterns, experience with data platforms, experience with DevOps toolchains, experience with business intelligence tooling (e.g., PowerBI), In-depth knowledge of modern technology stacks, experience with ServiceNow, experience with Oracle Finance and HCM, experience with Dynamics / CRM, experience with Java/.NET, experience with integration patterns, experience with data platforms, Experience setting and improving engineering standards and practices across CI/CD, Experience setting and improving engineering standards and practices across security in SDLC, Experience setting and improving engineering standards and practices across testing, Experience setting and improving engineering standards and practices across operability, Proven people leadership through coaching and capability uplift across multiple teams, Direct, transparent, and assertive leadership style, Decision maker and facilitator with a high engineering bar, clear accountability, healthy collaboration with Product and EA, written and verbal communicator who can simplify complexity for diverse audiences

What You'll Do.

Identify systemic capability gaps and run targeted uplift initiatives
Support hiring outcomes
Partner with Delivery Managers to improve resourcing effectiveness
Define and evolve a lightweight Business Systems Engineering Handbook
Drive a deliberate technical debt approach
Ensure consistent platform and integration engineering practices across domains
Promote practical adoption of AI across engineering workflows and Endava's internally-focused business systems
Partner with Product Management and Delivery Managers to surface technical risks
and constraints early
Own the quality strategy and levels of test automation
Drive SRE fundamentals
Improve consistency of release standards
Promote consistent DevOps and release practices
Strengthen documentation culture and knowledge sharing
Guide and monitor the Definitions of Ready and Done
Align engineering practices with Endava frameworks
Be the engineering counterpart to Product leadership
Act as a key stakeholder in EA-led design governance
Maintain a clear engagement model
