Must Have
PhD in a related biomedical or bioengineering discipline, Credible experience across numerous sub-fields of immunology, Broad knowledge across innate and adaptive immunity, Understanding of how the FDA operates at the discovery and translational stages, Knowledge of data packages best up to IND, Knowledge of bridging studies, Ability to present data packages and bridging studies
Nice to Have
Recognized voice in the field, Comfort with data-heavy drug discovery platforms, Comfort with computational biology, Knowledge of NAMs, Knowledge of advanced in vitro systems
What You'll Do.
Own the prioritization of therapeutic areas
Build the scientific roadmap
Direct disease modeling with the R&D team
Determine which diseases get modeled
Validate the science with the Platform team
Make sure the data makes biological sense
Pick the targets with the AI/ML team
Serve as scientific lead on benchmarking
Partner closely with Business Development
Identify collaboration and partnership opportunities
Shape how the platform is positioned commercially
Build BD decks and marketing materials
Prioritize indications and targets with commercial leverage
Drive in-licensing of drug assets
Ensure platform-drug fit
Build the public scientific narrative
Lead strategy behind patents
Lead strategy behind publications
Lead strategy behind white papers
Lead strategy behind blog posts
Lead strategy behind conference talks
Decide internal drug discovery programs
