Full Job Description
This role is with one of our portfolio companies. **Role Summary** We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Head of HR to lead the people function across both our corporate office and retail network. This role will lead and build scalable people systems, strengthen leadership capability, and drive a high-performance culture across diverse employee groups. The ideal candidate understands the nuances of managing frontline retail teams and corporate talent, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. **Key Responsibilities** **HR Strategy & Business Partnership** * Lead and execute a people strategy aligned with business growth plans * Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on org design, workforce planning, and succession * Build scalable HR systems for a multi-location retail footprint * Talent Acquisition (Corporate + Retail) * Design hiring strategy for: Corporate (marketing, operations, finance, product, etc.) and Retail functions * Improve hiring efficiency metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire) * Build a strong employer brand across retail and corporate talent markets * Performance & Capability: * Build performance management systems suitable for: Frontline retail staff (target-driven roles)and Corporate functions (goal & outcome-driven roles) * Drive manager capability development. * Implement structured feedback and review processes **Retail HR Operations:** * Manage large-scale frontline workforce challenges: Attrition control, Manpower * planning, Incentive frameworks, Attendance & compliance * Ensure statutory compliance across states (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, etc.) **Compensation & Benefits** * Design compensation philosophy across retail and corporate. * Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness **Culture & Engagement** * Build a high-performance, ownership-driven culture. * Drive engagement initiatives across stores and corporate. * Build a high-trust culture through employee and manag
