The [Griffith Graduate Research School](https://www.griffith.edu.au/griffith-graduate-research-school) (GGRS) is the dedicated point of contact for all Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates and governs the strategic direction for the HDR agenda at Griffith University. The GGRS works closely with academic and professional areas in maintaining quality standards of HDR recruitment, admission, candidature management, education and examination. We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient HDR Progress and Completions Support Officer to join our team. The focus of the HDR Progress and Completions Support Officer is to provide administrative support and advice in the areas of Higher Degree Research candidature progress and completions to a wide range of stakeholders across the University, including HDR candidates and academic staff. The position will report to the HDR Operations Team Leader (Progress & Completions) and will work within the Griffith Graduate Research School. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Create, process and manage data and information using various student systems ensuring, data integrity and accuracy always. * Assist in the coordination and administration of the entire thesis examination process from submission through to award. * Assist in the coordination and administration of candidature milestones. * Provide timely written and oral advice to clients on systems, policies and procedures pertaining to thesis
