What You'll Achieve.
achieve daily workload targets
Industry & Context.
Ability to lift heavy objects, perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials, variable scheduling that may include 3-4 overnight shifts per week, occasional exceptions for critical business needs
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A valid class A commercial driver’s license with an MVR that meets Company policy standards., Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.
Nice to Have
CDL Hazmat endorsement preferred.
What You'll Do.
operate class A trucks in a Less Than Truckload (LTL) capacity to pick up customer retail waste from retail stores
pharmacies and/or industrial sites.
verify that the waste is packaged
labeled and marked properly
and secured for transport to a temporary storage or treatment facility.
provide excellent customer service through follow up and ongoing communication while on site
maintain an electronic log and documentation of manifests and work orders.
comply with government regulations and procedures.
Understand and utilize company technology
such as mobile applications and software to track waste collection
packaging and disposal.
Deliver a high level of customer service through clear communication & professionalism onsite.
Maintains vehicle log.
Maintains documentation of manifests and work orders.
Performs DOT pre-trip and post trip inspections in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
Understands DOT regulations as they pertain to hazardous waste collection
packaging and transportation including but not limited to accurate placarding
HAZMAT load segregation
Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at facility and on grounds.
Functions as technician on lab pack and field service projects.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
