The Hazmat Coordinator Coordinator provides technical support and tactical execution in the implementation of Amazon Global Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs within assigned fulfillment center. Function as Lead in Regulated Waste Team which sorts, identifies, designates and packages regulated waste from the production floor in a manner compliant with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. The Regulated Waste Coordinator will also serve as the POC for spills generated within the site. Serve as designated Regulated Waste representative of assigned fulfillment center (FC), coordinating and implementing all areas of the Amazon Regulated Waste Program as directed by Safety Manager of the regional node. Basic Qualifications: - 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required Preferred Qualifications: - Accredited degree or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis
