Must Have
High school diploma or GED, Read, write, speak and understand English, Read and understand label data, Read small print on packaging and paperwork, Take directions using headset selection system, Accommodate flexible schedules, Lift up to 50 lbs frequently, Lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, Sit, stand, walk bend, squat, Grasp, reach, push or pull, Step up onto and down from equipment, Reach above shoulder level frequently, Build pallets up to 6 feet tall, Adjust to fluctuating temperatures, Withstand freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, Work in a noisy warehouse environment, Wear and communicate through headsets, Wear appropriate PPE, Handle and physically be near products which may contain food allergens
Nice to Have
College coursework preferred, Continuing technical education preferred, Comparable business experience preferred, Warehouse experience preferred, Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred
What You'll Do.
Ensure safety of products
Ensure stability of products
Train other team members
Mentor other team members
Wrap pallets for safe transport
Stack pallets for safe transport
Check condition of pallets
Exchange pallets where necessary
Report damage to supervisor
Report inventory discrepancies to supervisor
Coordinate with receivers
Coordinate with reach truck operators
Remove product from docks
Maintain minimum performance expectation
Handle product properly
Minimize product damage
Turn in complete paperwork
Turn in legible paperwork
Turn in accurate paperwork
Maintain cleanliness of dock
Maintain cleanliness of facility areas
Maintain repair of dock
Maintain repair of facility areas
Maintain food safety standards
Maintain housekeeping standards
Maintain applicable standards
Perform other duties as assigned
