What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 plus years experience in live poultry environment, Supervisory/leadership experience is required, Basic computer skills, generate spreadsheets and reporting
Nice to Have
Hatchery Supervision preferred
What You'll Do.
Responsible for day to day activities of the hatchery
Planning special projects related to maintaining an excellent hatching environment
Ensuring cost effectiveness is maintained
Administering personnel policies in a fair and consistent manner
Making weekly projections
Seeking outside sources when necessary
Working with Quality Control to ensure proper procedure is followed
Calculating hatchery mechanical performance
Ensuring preventative maintenance is in place
Assisting supervisors in training
Dealing with Team Members
Working with Hen Growers and Breeder Technicians
Working with Broiler Growers and Technicians
Fumigating and maintaining eggs
Arranging for chicks to be delivered to the farm
Performing all other responsibilities as the need arises
