Full Job Description
Lewis Cellars is seeking a Harvest Intern to join us in the heart of Napa Valley for the 2026 vintage! We are a small, tight-knit group of passionate professionals who take pride in the wines we make. We vinify Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards throughout the valley, from Oak Knoll to Atlas Peak to Calistoga. We also make Chardonnay from Sonoma’s Russian River Valley. We offer a well-rounded learning experience for our interns and are committed to creating a positive and supportive work culture. You can expect to get your hands dirty and take part in every aspect of the winemaking process. This internship will begin in late August and end in mid-November, depending on how the growing season goes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Napa, CA. * Support with fruit receival, processing and other production duties * Assist with fermentation management, including Brix and temperatures, pumpovers, inoculations and additions, and pressing * Assist with cellar operations including barrel filling, racking, topping, and other wine movements * Perform grape sampling and maturity analysis, as well as lab analysis of musts, juices, and wines * Maintain a clean and safe working area - there are plenty of cleaning and sanitation duties ## Qualifications * Previous harvest experience is a plus * Solid communication skills and attention to detail * Strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and a positive team-building attitude * Ability to work the entire harvest period from late August through November 2026 * Ability to perform physical labor for extended hours, 6 days per week during peak harvest * Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, perform repetitive motions, and work in variable temperatures and weather conditions * Ability to work legally in the U.S. Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience. ## Additional Information * Wine and merchandise disco
