3+ years of experience in harness manufacturing processes, 3+ years of experience with cable and wire machines and tools: cut, strip, and terminate, crimp, terminals punching, wire marking, testers, AutoCAD experience

Full Job Description
**What will you do?** In this position you will design, develop and validate the manufacturing processes. You also will contribute to the buildup of new production cells, generating the technical information of production processes. You will also maintain and improve existing manufacturing methods while supporting Johnson Controls’ capacity expansion plans. **How will you do it?** * Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, and application of rules. * Manufacturing cell design. * Calculate and control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes. * Verify time standards and calculation of earned hours per family products. * Implement Engineering Changes. * Facilitating A3 problem solving. * Designing future state value streams. * Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, DFAM, etc.). * Contribute to the advancement of the organization in the JCMS. * Supports sharing of best practices as a result of internal and external benchmarking activities. * Evaluation and modification of layouts of production lines and production cells. * Work with multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing. * Drive process-related activities for New Product Introduction, from early planning stages into full production. * Coach, mentor, and train Manufacturing Technicians within the Manufacturing team. **What are we looking for?** * Industrial, Mechatronic, Mechanical Engineering Degree. * 3+ years of experience in harness manufacturing processes. * 3+ years of experience with cable and wire machines and tools: cut, strip, and terminate, crimp, terminals punching, wire marking, testers. * AutoCAD experience.
