Must Have
10+ years new hardware products development, 7+ years engineering team management, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, Experience in new hardware product development, EE fundamentals, Digital Interface, Analog, Memory Technologies (eMMC, DRAM, NAND, etc), Experience with prototyping solutions, Bench test methodology, Schematic capture, PCB design tools
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or related field, Experience developing products for large volume production, Experience managing teams of 8+ engineers, Depth in Memory Technology domains (eMMC, DRAM, etc.)

Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating the best-selling Kindle family of products. Since then, we have produced ground breaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. The Role: In this role you will manage team of hardware engineers who drive a comprehensive electrical focused system level design validation plan for our products. This scope comprises of multiple sub-systems including Power, Memory, High Sped Interfaces, Digital and Analog circuits. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to identify opportunities to drive efficiencies for the team's deliverables. You will define and drive the quality bar to ensure the products we ship are bug free Key job responsibilities CEE team is looking for a leader drive a team to deliver best in class bug free hardware through extensive system level electrical validation. In this role you will: - Develop and execute validation strategies for device hardware to ensure it meet system level requirements and specifications. - Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing them technical guidance and mentorship while fostering a supportive and high-performing team culture. - Drive organizational alignment for the team to ensure you can broaden the teams impact while mitigating risks. - Drive execution and reporting structures to inform leadership across deliverable milestones and escalations - Work with vendors and CMs to streamline to ensure engagement models and associated requirements are streamlined - Identify opportunities and mechanisms to improve the validation workflow, such as leveraging automation, tools, AI etc. Basic Qualifications: - 10+ years of new hardware products development experience - 7+ years of engineering team management experience - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a r
