What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), A minimum 5-years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3-years’ experience, Experience in an engineering lab environment area overseeing or implementing safety, security, compliance and property management, The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance is required, U. S. citizenship is required
Nice to Have
mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills, Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations, Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management, Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination, Ability to organize and track Capital and Expense assets, Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers, Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
What You'll Do.
manage and implement engineering lab strategic projects
day-to-day administrative functions within multiple engineering labs
and compliance using established doctrine and governance
Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) provide direction for lab users on established policies
Management coordination and implementation of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainment
Property & Metrology Management including maintenance of equipment service contracts and ongoing equipment repairs
Perform cost analysis
ensure task completion within approved budgets
Perform lab purchase requests through SAP
while providing process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Oversee audit/assessment preparation
Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives
including engineering customer goals
Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material
utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
Develop and implement communication plans
providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
