Full Job Description
**_Job Summary_** As a Junior Engineer in Functional Safety, you will support the CTO Functional Safety team in ensuring the safety and reliability of semiconductor products (SoCs). You will work closely with experienced engineers to assist in safety assessments, reviews, and the development of safety concepts for cutting-edge technologies and embedded systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build expertise in ISO 26262/IEC 61508 Functional Safety standards, system architecture, and safety analysis techniques. ** _Responsibilities_** * Assist in understanding MCU/MPU safety architectures and safety analysis (Fault Tree Analysis, Dependent Failure Analysis) * Support safety assessments and peer reviews under the guidance of senior engineers * Participate in promoting Functional Safety awareness and best practices across teams * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, systems) to support safety activities * Contribute to process improvements and innovation initiatives for efficient safety assessments * Apply analytical thinking to identify issues and support problem resolution ** _Skills Required_** * Basic understanding of hardware/semiconductor product development lifecycle (architecture, design, simulation, analysis) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork abilities * Ability to learn quickly and work in complex and evolving technical environments * Willingness to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders ** _Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills_** * Exposure to embedded systems or automotive/industrial applications * Basic awareness of Functional Safety (ISO26262/IEC61508 standard) concepts * Familiarity with C/C++ programming, scripting, software development or debugging tools ** _Education_** Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering up to 2 years’ experience.
