Develop, improve, and qualification of new and existing equipment, software and processes. Collaborate with functional groups locally and globally to design, develop and qualify equipment, processes and software, establish roadmaps, strategies and new equipment capabilities that enable business objectives. Perform continuous gap analysis between existing Test capabilities and product roadmaps to identify development opportunities. Research industry capabilities/trends and regularly conduct equipment benchmarking. Establish and maintain key technical roadmaps in conjunction with other engineering groups. Lead worldwide projects from definition through first of kind deployment into production. Coordinate with key partners including BU, PE, Site and Finance teams to establish project business value using approved methodology and techniques. Provide Automated Test Equipment and process development for new technology, manufacturing applications, and improvements that will deploy to all Micron Test locations Worldwide. Conduct controlled evaluations and design experiments needed to understand the product, process, material, and equipment limitations. Identify and resolve origin of deviation, isolate cause and provide solutions. International travel required up to 25% of the time.
